Billie Eilish joins Lana Del Rey at Coachella for surprise performance: Watch

American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, who is the youngest celebrity to have two Oscar wins so far, treated her fans to a surprise performance at Coachella. Joining Lana Del Rey for her headlining set at the music festival, Billie once again proved that she is a true blue performer and a force to be reckoned with.
As seen in the viral videos, Billie joined her idol on stage on Friday. She was seen standing on a gilded balcony overlooking the main stage with a mic in her hand.
Together, Billie and Lana performed a rendition of Eilish's 2016 hit, "Ocean Eyes," followed by Lana's iconic 2012 song, "Video Games".
During the performance, Billie took a moment to praise Lana and her influence on millions of women. She said, "[She] is the reason for half of you b**ches’ existence, including mine."
Lana reciprocated the same loving energy and said, "The voice of our generation, the voice of your generation. I’m so f**king grateful she’s standing next to me right now singing my favourite song of hers!"

This was Lana and Billie's first collaboration. However, Billie has long admired Lana, and she often calls the 38-year-old her "inspiration and idol". When the two spoke to each other for Interview magazine last year, Eilish told her, "You really paved the way for everyone. People have been trying to look and sound like you since you first started. I talk about this with Finneas. You changed the way the music industry hears and sees music, and you changed the way people sing."
Del Rey reciprocated the admiration, recalling her first impression of Eilish, saying, "I remember seeing the first videos of you singing and I said to my managers, 'She’s the one… This is the girl.' It’s crazy to have that magical quality."
On the music front, Lana released her ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, last year. On the other hand, Billie recently announced that her third album Hit Me Hard and Soft will release on May 17.
