Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's first look at Cannes 2019 proves that she's the real queen of red carpet

There is no one quite like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the beauty queen-turned-actress proves yet againthat no one brings glamour as she does at the Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya debuted a new look at the red carpet as she came out dressed in dual-tonechrome yellow-green mermaid-style dress with a dramatic sleeve on one arm from Jean-Louis Sabaji couture. The gown also had a long train that was both edgy and glam at the same time. She complimented the look with nude makeup, slick hair andbright eyes.

The fashion icon, however, put on glossy lipstick with the dress. It could be that gloss makes a comeback this year after matte stayed and ruled the fashion world for some time now -- in both lip colour and other forms of tint used on the face.

Aishwarya strutted around dressed like a queen as she held close to her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan who twinned with mother in a yellow frock with a large flower on one arm. The mother-daughter duo has been spotted at the film festival for some years now.

The star walked the red carpet just a day after fellow L'Oreal ambassador Deepika Padukone was seen at the red carpet. We also saw Priyanka Chopra, Diana Penty and Hina Khan debuting at the film festival this year. Soon, Sonam Kapoor will also be seen.

Kangana Ranaut andHuma Qureshiwere among others who came and rocked the red carpet with fresh looks.
