'We all forgot...': Krunal Pandya shares EMOTIONAL post for brother Hardik after 2024 T20 World Cup heroics

Krunal Pandya has called the treatment of his brother and India all-rounder Hardik Pandya by fans before the T20 World Cup undeserving. It is to be noted that Hardik was booed severely by fans during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season just ahead of the T20 World Cup.
The reason for the treatment meted out by the fanswas Hardikbeing named the Mumbai Indians skipper by replacing Rohit Sharma. Hardik was the skipper of the home state franchise Gujarat Titans before being named MI skipper.

"The last six months have been the toughest for Hardik. He simply didn’t deserve what he went through, and as a brother, I felt very, very bad for him. From booing, to people saying all kinds of nasty things, at the end of the day, we all forgot that he is just a human being who also has emotions. He somehow passed through all of this with a smile, though I know how hard it was for him to put on a smile. He kept working hard and focusing on what he needed to do to get the World Cup since that was his ultimate objective," Krunal wrote in an Instagram post.
Hardik played a pivotal role in India's second T20 World Cup with 144 runs and 11 wickets in eight games. His 3/19 in the final against South Africa essentially saved the game for India.
"I just want to remind people that what Hardik has done in such a short span in his career is unbelievable. His efforts for the national team have never been compromised. Every time, at every stage of Hardik’s life, people have written him off, and that has only motivated him to come back even stronger," added Krunal in his post.
India beat South Africa on June 29 by seven runs to win the 2024 T20 World Cup.
