"Now we have to think about adaptation. I suppose Bangkok will be under water, if we stay in our (current) circumstance," he further said.

Bangkok is considering building sea walls, similar to those in the Netherlands, to combat rising waters. However, relocation of the city is also being discussed, according to a government official.&nbsp;

Kesavawong emphasised that these talks are still in the early stages and that moving the capital would be a very complex undertaking.

"Personally I think it's a good choice, so we can separate the capital, the government areas, and business areas," he added.

"Bangkok would still be the government capital, but will move the business,” Kesavawong&nbsp;further said.

This country may need to relocate its capital due to rising sea levels

In another incident concerning the safety of passengers, a Boeing plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a fire was spotted in one of the engines when taking off.

With 450 passengers and 18 crew members on board, the Garuda Indonesia plane departed for Medina in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (May 15).

The Garuda Indonesia released a statement saying that the Boeing 747-400 aircraft immediately returned to the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport after “fire was observed in one of the engines”.

The statement added that no one was injured in the incident.

It was scheduled to land back in Indonesia's Makassar.

Several passengers on the aircraft were due to take part in Mecca's annual Hajj pilgrimage.

“The captain discovered that one of the engines was on fire and immediately decided that further inspection was necessary to determine whether the engine was faulty," Garuda Indonesia president Irfan Setiaputra said.

“The decision was made immediately after the aircraft took off,” he added.

The airline stated that they had provided the passengers affected in the incident with accommodation.

Blinken stated that it will help to strengthen its capacity to produce what the nation needs for itself but also to produce for others. Finally, Ukraine can purchase military equipment from other countries, not just the US, using this fund.&nbsp;

According to DSA, there are strict rules for protecting children and ensuring that their privacy and security are not hampered online. Locals reported hearing a huge blast, according to regional media site RP Online. It's unclear, though, if the explosion happened before or after the fire started. Subsequently, the fire extended to the nearby residential building. In addition, a number of parked automobiles that were in front of the business caught fire.

Approximately 100 firemen responded to the scene during the night. Residents escaped to balconies at the back of the home. The fire department then used ladders to rescue them from the burning and smoke-filled structure. "We carried out a massive rescue operation," stated a fire department spokeswoman told local media.
