The Mexican-American woman is seen racially abusing and attacking Indian-American women.

A Mexican-American woman racially assaulted and smacked four Indian-American women in the state of Texas in the U.S., calling them "ruiners" of America and telling them to "go back to India."The person who posted this video wrote, "This incident occurred in Dallas, Texas after my mom and her three friends went to dinner."

The woman, later identified as Esmeralda Uptonand since been detained, is shown in the video claiming to be Mexican American while abusing the group ofIndian Americans.

"I hate you Indians. All these Indians come to America because they want a better life," Esmeralda Upton is seen saying in the video. "You Indians are everywhere," she adds while hurling abuses at the four Indian-American women.

The Plano Police detectives in Texas detained the Mexican-American lady later after she was identified with the help of the video that went viral on social media.

Esmeralda Upton, 58, of Plano, was detained and charged with misdemeanour assault and making a terroristic threat, according to Plano police. She was being held in the local jail on a $10,000 bond on Thursday.

The assault was also being looked at as a hate crime, according to the police statement.

Chanda Parbhoo, executive director of South Asian American Voter Engagement of Texas, said in a statement: "While we are relieved our community members are safe, listening to their cries for help from the verbal, physical, and racist abuse this woman was unleashing in that dark parking lot is infuriating."
