"Sirens sounding in Yated, southern Israel," the IDF said in a post on X on Thursday.

Minutes later, the IDF clarified, saying that it was determined to be a false identification.

"Following the sirens that sounded at 17:42 in Yated, it was determined to be a false identification," the Israel defence forces stated.
