Vice president of United States, Michale Pence on Saturday said that Russia is ''on the wrong side of the war'' as he referred to the recent strike carried out by the US and UK and France on Syria.

Pence also showed his agreement to Donald Trump's Syria attack statement where he referred the operation as "mission accomplished" and called it "completely successful".

Pence statement came hours later of the operation while he was attending the America summit at the Washington DC which he had to attend as president Trump cancelled due to the official statement he had to make about the action against the Syrian chemical attack.

Earlier on Saturday, US, UK and France lanched 105 missiles at three facilitties connected to the regime of Syrian president Bashar al-assad as a retaliation to April 7 chemical attacks which took lives of at least 50 civillians.

The missile hit a scientific research facility in Damascus and Syrian army depots in the Homs area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a second research facility was also struck in Damascus, in addition to a third in the Homs area, and five military bases and depots used by elite army divisions in the Mezzeh area of Damascus.

On the type of chemical that was used in the attack, Pence informed that 'minimum' chlorine was used along with serin.

Pence also said, "It's time for Russia to get the message President Trump delivered last night. You're known by the company you keep."

He further mentioned of the NAFTA wall being built up at the US-Mexico border while saying that United States, Mexico, and Canada are close to renegotiating a new NAFTA deal. 

Meanwhile, in United Nations Security Council, Russia's bid to condemn the US, British and France over the air strike failed as only China and Bolivia was ones who ones who voted with Russia to draft resolution during the 15-member council meet requested by Russia.

However, The United States, France and Britain defended their military action as legal during the Security Council meeting.
