Sri Lanka's strongman leader Mahinda Rajapakse on Sunday called his five-decade-long association with Sri Lanka Freedom Party, news agency PTI reported.

According to reports, Rajapakse has now joined hands with the newly-formed Sri Lanka People's Party (SLPP).
