Hollywood actress Meryl Streep has responded to Tom Hanks' comments about her being 'high maintenance', stating that Hanks spends more time doing hair and makeup than her.
While attended the premiere of her movie "The Post", in which she co-stars with Hanks, Streep said,"Just check the amount of time he took in hair and makeup and how much I did, and you'll find out who's high maintenance."
"By the way, the movie is dedicated to Nora Ephron, who claims that phrase - high maintenance - as her own," noted Streep.
Earlier this week, Hanks jokingly said that Streep was high maintenance while talking to Stephen Colbert on his show "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert".
After host Stephen Colbert explained to Hanks that many people trust him, including his co-star (Streep), Hanks playfully rolled his eyes and said, "You mean, can I just say, high-maintenance Meryl Streep?"
