Story highlights

The US–Iran–Israel war, ongoing for nearly a month, began on February 28. The killing of Ali Khamenei escalated the conflict, prompting Iranian retaliation. Diplomatic efforts led by Donald Trump have stalled, with Iran demanding security guarantees before talks.

US-Iran-Israel war LIVE | The war in West Asia is going on for almost a month now. The conflict began on February 28, when Israel and the United States carried out what they described as “pre-emptive” strikes on Iran amid ongoing nuclear negotiations with Tehran. A day later, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed, prompting Iran to strike Israel and US bases in Gulf countries. Over the past weeks, several senior Iranian figures, including security chief Ali Larijani, have been killed. Iran has since appointed Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba Khamenei, as the new Supreme Leader.

On the diplomatic front, US President Donald Trump has extended a peace plan, with Iran rejecting negotiations and saying that it would only talk if security guarantees are given. Meanwhile, global energy markets are under strain, with disruptions to oil supplies causing widespread concern. The Strait of Hormuz—a critical route for global energy shipments—has become increasingly volatile.

The West Asia burns for now and major question arises about how will this end and what will be the relationship between the US and Iran in post-war world? What will be the locus standi of Israel and how will the Gulf nations behave? Here are all the updates, analysis and developments on the US-Iran-Israel war
