Musk launches new attack on British Thai cave rescuer, calls him 'child rapist'

Tesla Chief Elon Musk has launched another scathing attack on the British diver who helped rescue the 12 boys from a cave in Thailand, calling him a child rapist.
Musk faced widespread backlash in July when he first called the diver, Vernon Unsworth, a “pedo” in a tweet after the diver questioned the value of Musk’s contribution to the rescue, a small submarine that ultimately went unused.
He later apologised to Unsworth after he found himself in hot water. "His actions against me do not justify my actions against him, and for that I apologize to Mr. Unsworth and to the companies I represent as leader," Musk said in a tweet. "The fault is mine and mine alone."
His latest attack, however, came to light when he wrote an email to Buzzfeed News. They show Musk launched new claims against Unsworth without providing evidence to support the allegations.
Ryan Mac, a reported on Buzzfeed took to Twitter and called out Musk - "Elon Musk sent me an email last week. In it, he accused a British cave rescuer of being "a child rapist" who took a "12-year-old bride." He didn't provide any evidence of those claims."
The SpaceX founder alleged that the diver had moved to the Southeast Asian country to take a child bride, who was 12-year-old at the time. Unsworth denied Musk's accusations through his attorney, Buzzfeed reported.
Unsworth has reportedly started legal action against Musk and is considering suing him in three countries - Thailand, London and US - reports said.

British diver Vern Unsworth, 63, was one of the instrumental members who helped in the rescue mission. CNN reports him as saying that Musk's submarine “wouldn’t have made the first 50 meters into the cave” calling the whole thing “just a PR stunt.”
