A29-year-old was rescued from a well in Bali, Indonesia after six long days.Jacob Roberts, a British citizen, fell into the well inPecatu village.
The visitor was in thePecatu village when he was chased by a dog. While trying to save himself from the dog, he fell into afour-metre-deep concrete pit.
Alarms were raised after a local farmer heard his cries of help. After that,Jacob was rescued by a local and research team.
“Jacob’s calls for help were heard by a local who was going to feed his cows,” local search and rescue chief Gede Darmada told reporters.
“He looked thin and injured,” South Kuta police chief Yusak Agustinus Sooai said after Jason’s rescue.
He has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
