On the second of back-to-back nights of Democratic debates, the candidates underscored their policy positions and plans to unseat Trump in November of 2020.
Ten candidates took the debate stage including democratic front-runner, former Vice President Joe Biden, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Washington Governor Jay Inslee, California Senator Kamala Harris, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Colorado Senator Michael Bennet, businessman Andrew Yang, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and former Housing Secretary Julian Castro.
The crowded Democratic field of about two dozen candidates has been vying for attention and financial support in the race to pick a challenger to Trump in the November 2020 election.
