France deploys military aircraft to battle wildfires

In an unprecedented emergency response, France has deployed a heavy-duty Airbus A400M military transport aircraft to combat massive wildfires raging in the southwest. Equipped with a special dispensing kit capable of dropping 20 tonnes of fire retardant in a single run, the military aircraft joins an extensive fleet of firefighting units trying to contain aggressive blazes threatening the Bordeaux region.
