Andhra's state election commission postpones local body polls
The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has halted election proceedings across 100 urban local bodies following directions from the Supreme Court. State Election Commissioner Anil Chandra Punetha ordered the suspension across 13 municipal corporations and 87 municipalities and nagar panchayats.
