New Delhi, India

The Internet surprises you in more ways than one. A recent video, claiming to show legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan performing the hook step of the popular Bollywood song "Tauba Tauba", left most fans surprised. "Tauba Tauba", from the film Bad Newz featuring Vicky Kaushal, can easily be called the song of the season with many taking to social media to perform the hook step of the song that Kaushal has performed with style and swagger.

Many viewers were in awe with Muttiah Muralitharan's moves in the viral video, as he aced the hook steps with remarkable ease. Fans took to social media to admire the cricketer's moves.

“Never knew that Muralitharan is such a fine dancer!” wrote one fan.

Turns out that the man in the video is not the Sri Lankan cricketer but an Indian choreographer called Kiran Joale who has a striking resemblance to Muttiah Muralitharan.

The resemblance between Kiran and Muralitharan was so striking that it led to widespread confusion among fans and followers.

Despite the initial mix-up, the video continued to garner views and praise for the choreography and seamless execution. Watch the video here:

Perhaps because of the lighting, it was easy to mistake the choreographer for the former cricketer. Another video of Kiran shows him dancing with his students to the song, where his face is clear.
