<p>Tourists at Yellowstone National Park were seen running for their lives on Tuesday morning (July 23) after an underground hydrothermal explosion occurred and a huge cloud of black smoke and debris rose in the air.</p>

<p>The eruption took place in the Biscuit Basin area of the national park which originated near Black Diamond Pool, located nearly 2.1 miles northwest of Old Faithful.</p>

<p>In the scary video, dozens of tourists are seen running along the boardwalk which goes up to the thermal pools and some are even heard screaming when large chunks of rock are falling in all directions.</p>

<p>However, no one suffered injuries in the explosion, as per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), The officials have temporarily closed Biscuit Basin, its parking lot and boardwalks for the safety of the visitors.</p>
