Reacting to recent attacks on Indian students in the US, the White House has asserted that there is no such excuse for violence based on race, gender or any other factor and called it unacceptable.

Neel Acharya, an Indian student studying at Purdue University, who was missing since Sunday was confirmed dead by authorities in the US state of Indiana. Earlier, Vivek Saini, an MBA student in Georgia's Lithonia, was brutally killed by a homeless drug-addict.
