<p>Shiv Sena today&nbsp;said that it will not align with BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.</p>

<p>The party passed the resolution at its national executive meet in Mumbai.</p>

<p>The announcement was made by party leader Sanjay Raut who moved the resolution, stating that the BJP had been demoralising the party for the last three years.</p>

<p>The Sena has so far been a difficult BJP ally, taking the ruling BJP to task both in Maharashtra and at the Centre.&nbsp;</p>
