<p>Day one of the competition will feature six matches, including Australia vs Scotland, England vs Ireland and Pakistan vs the USA. Team India will begin their title defence against West Indies on the second day, while 16 warm-up matches will take place from January 13-16.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thailand and Malaysia were scheduled to host the tournament earlier, but with Thailand opting out, Malaysia will solely host the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup next year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Malaysia also hosted the U19 Men’s T20 WC in 2008, which featured stars like Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Steve Smith, among others.&nbsp;</p>
