<p>The Delhi High Court on Friday sought a reply from former President Pranab Mukherjee on a suit filed against him in connection with his book 'Turbulent Years 1980- 1996'.</p>

<p>The case filed against him seeks deletion of some portions of his book which talks about the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.</p>

<p>The suit is filed for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments.</p>

<p>The lower court had earlier on November 30, 2016 rejected the plea seeking deletion of the contents of the&nbsp;book.</p>

<p>The next hearing of the case is reserved for July 30.</p>

<p>The book was released in 2016.</p>
