Far-right activist Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley Lennon, has claimed Elon Musk is funding his legal defense as he stands trial in London. Robinson is accused of refusing to provide his phone PIN under counter-terrorism powers while trying to leave the UK at the Channel Tunnel in 2024. The case raises major questions about civil liberties, freedom of the press, and the use of terrorism laws. Musk has yet to confirm whether he’s footing the legal bill, though he recently voiced support at one of Robinson’s rallies. Here's what happened on day one of the trial.
