Emraan Hashmi is all set to help students cheat in national-level entrance exams in new film 'Cheat India'. The film attempts to bare the malpractices in India's education system and presents Hashmi in a completely new avatar.&nbsp; 
 
Hashmi plays the middleman who fraudulently&nbsp;helps lakhs of students get the coveted degree by taking money from them and making someone else appear for the exams. Based on true incidents, 'Cheat India' has been co-produced by T-Series and Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg's Ellipsis Entertainment.&nbsp;

Earlier, in a statement, Hashmi said, “The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I've read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography.” 
 
The film will be releasing in theatres on 25th January 2019.&nbsp;
