An Indian Army officer of Lt Colonel rank has been taken into custody in Jabalpur over a honey trap case.

The officer is working in the Jabalpur workshop &amp; has been detained by the counter intelligence wing of the Army.

Sources said that the officer&#39;s residence was raided by officials reportedly on the suspicion that he might have fallen prey to a honey trap set up by Pakistan&rsquo;s Inter-services Intelligence (ISI).

Delhi Police last week arrested Indian Air Force (IAF) Group Captain Arun Marwaha on charges of espionage for passing secret information to Pakistan&#39;s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency.

Marwaha, 51, was arrested by Special Cell&#39;s northern range on Wednesday after a case was registered against him under the Official Secrets Act (OSA). Marwaha was arrested after being interrogated for nearly 10 days by the counter intelligence wing of the IAF.&nbsp;

The IAF had detained Marwaha for investigation on January 31 after his activities were found &quot;suspicious&quot;, said Delhi Police Special Cell&#39;s Special Commissioner MM Oberoi. The Air Force had then approached the Delhi Police to investigate the case. He was produced before a Delhi court on Thursday that sent him to police custody for five days.
