<p>Government school students in Madhya Pradesh&#39;s Satna district&nbsp;will have to say &quot;Jai Hind&quot; instead of the usual &quot;Yes ma&#39;am, sir&quot; when they answer roll call.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The announcement was made on Tuesday by MP school education minister Vijay Shah.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The diktat is to be implemented from October 1.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Shah added that should the experiment is successful, formal permission will be taken from the chief minister to implement the rule in all schools in the state.</p>

<p>Shah added that in an effort to inculcate patriotism amongst&nbsp;the youth, the state government has already instructed schools to hoist the tricolour and sing the national anthem every day.</p>

<p>Private schools have been advised to do the same.</p>
