The left-arm quick broke multiple records inside the first session on the opening day on Saturday (Aug 22). Starc, 36, picked up a wicket on the first ball of the match, and surpassed James Anderson with a ninth career first-ball strike.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Playing his 107th Test match, Starc also surpassed Dale Steyn’s tally of 439 Test wickets, entering the list of top-10 highest Test wicket-takers of all time. He returned with excellent figures of 6/12 in 10 overs, with six maidens, as Bangladesh got all out for 64 in just 34 overs. He sits in the 10th position with 441 Test wickets and counting.</p><h2>Record five-for and more</h2><p>Unsurprisingly, Starc picked up his 19th Test five-wicket haul in just 22 balls, his second-fastest and sixth overall in the format’s history. Against the West Indies in an away Test last year, he created a world record by dismissing five batters in 15 deliveries.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Starc first dismissed the left-hander Shadman on a first-ball duck caught in the gully, before removing his opening partner Tanzid Hasan (0) and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (0) on successive deliveries in his second over.
