Sri Lanka has decided to lift a ban on social media reportedly by this week.

The internet services have been suspended from past several days as measures to control communal violence in the region as authorities were reported of social media being used for coordinated events is banned as a measure to control communal violence in the region.

The nationwide declared emergency was lifted on 10th of March.

Police said on Saturday nearly 150 people, including the main instigator, have also been arrested over the unrest.&nbsp;
