The teaser for Squid Game season 2 dropped during Netflix’s annual Geeked Week fan event.&nbsp;

The teaser shows Seong Gi-hun wearing his 456 uniform amid a crowd of new contestants. There is obviously a bigger cash prize, as contestants come together in this game of survival and death.

The game features people who are struggling to fend for their lives financially and hence take part in this do-or-die game where you come closer to the massive bounty, one game at a time. These participants are people from Korea who take part in this game. The show takes a look at the dark depths of human desperation and resilience in every sense.&nbsp;

<h2>Squid Game Season 2 Cast &amp; Other Details</h2>

Squid Game season 2 will feature Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun and Gong Yoo as they reprise their roles as survivors of the bloody elimination game.

Joining the cast of the show for its second installment are Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yuri and Won Ji.

Squid Game season 2 has roped in series director Hwang Dong-hyuk to helm the new season. He is also the writer and producer of the show. Firstman Studio is producing the drama.
