<p>It's not Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland or Tobey Maguire, the Delhi Traffic Police on Wednesday (Jul 24) took action against a local 'Spiderman' for flouting traffic rules, news agency ANI reported.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Police on Wednesday (Jul 24) said they received a complaint on social media about a car seen on Dwarka roads with a person dressed as Spiderman on its bonnet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Police said that the person in the Spiderman costume was identified as Aditya (20) who resides&nbsp;in Najafgarh region in Delhi. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Gaurav Singh (19).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The owner and driver of the vehicle have been prosecuted for dangerous driving, driving without a pollution certificate, and not wearing a seatbelt, with a possible maximum fine of Rs. 26,000 and/or imprisonment or both.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This is not the first case, it appears Delhi has become quite accustomed to these self-declared superheroes. But police have raised serious concerns and taken action wherever necessary.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this year, in April, a couple in Delhi was nabbed for performing dangerous stunts on the streets of the national capital dressed up in body-con costumes of comic characters Spiderman and Spiderwoman.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As quoted by news agency PTI, a senior police officer had said, "Two persons were riding a bike and wearing Spiderman costumes. An inquiry into the matter was conducted and the riders have been booked under different sections of the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act for offences without a helmet, without a mirror, without a licence, dangerous driving, and not displaying a number plate etc."&nbsp;</p>
