NASA has shared some incredible pictures clicked by its Chandra X-ray Observatory and James Webb Space Telescope. Describing the experience as a cosmic road trip, NASA took the readers on a trip to "four stunning destinations across space".&nbsp;

Located at a distance of about 390 light-years from Earth, Rho Ophiuchi is the first stop. It is a cloud complex filled with gas and stars of different sizes and ages. It is one of the closest star-forming regions and of particular interest to astronomers. X-rays from Chandra show infant stars in purple, while infrared data from Webb are red, yellow, cyan, light blue and darker blue, showing views of the spectacular regions of gas and dust.

Orion Nebula, located in the Milky Way, is about 1,500 light-years away from Earth. This nebula can be seen through a small telescope. Chandra and Webb have captured young stars glowing brightly and the gas and dust in the nebula. The stars are coloured red, green, and blue, while the gas and dust, captured by Webb, are darker red.

The third photo in the series if of another galaxy, the spiral galaxy called NGC 3627. The central region of this galaxy is rectangular, which is why it is also known as a barred spiral galaxy. Two distinct spiral arms appear as arcs in the photo. Chandra has captured a supermassive black hole at its centre in purple. Dust and gas are also visible throughout the galaxy.

A picture of the galaxy cluster MACS J0416 has also been shared. It is the farthest place of the four from Earth and as per NASA, "is among the largest objects in the Universe held together by gravity". The cluster is said to contain hundreds or thousands of galaxies. The galaxies in the photo can be seen in red, green and blue.&nbsp;
