<p>On the release day of Sushant Singh Rajput’s film ‘Kedarnath’ with Sara Ali Khan, makers of ‘Sonchiriya’ have come out with the much-awaited teaser.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The first teaser-trailer is over one-minute-long and will remind you of an era forgotten -- when the dacoits terrorised entire Indian villages and ran their own gangs, much before the mafias and dons took over.</p>

<p>Set in the 1970s, the film pitches Manoj Bajpayee and Sushant Singh Rajput as dacoits of Chambal valley, a much-dreaded place in India for loot and crime. Ranveer Shorey is another dacoit in the picture along with actress Bhumi Pednekar who has a meaty role too (we hope).&nbsp;</p>

<p>‘Sonchiriya’ revolves around dacoits of Chambal valley. A second poster released of the film that focuses on the dry, mountainous terrains of Chambal, unlike the first poster that showed a group of men armed for combat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has helmed films like ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ and ‘Ishqiya’, is presented by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP movies.</p>

'Sonchiriya' teaser: Manoj Bajpayee, Sushant Singh do justice as Chambal valley dacoits

<p>She transformed herself and gained extra kilos for her debut film. Bhumi Pednekar always goes an extra mile to look her part in the films she is part of. In a short span of time- she made her debut in <em>Dum Lagake Haisha</em> in 2015- Bhumi has time and again proved her mettle by taking up off-beat films which have been loved by critics as well as the audience. The actress will now play a dacoit in Abhishek Chaubey's <em>Sonchiriya</em> for which Bhumi appears to have lost weight to look the part.&nbsp<br />

The actress shared the first look of her character on Twitter and the actress can be seen carrying a gun on her shoulder. The actress looks almost unrecognisable as she is dressed in a simple saree, with no make-up. The actress wrote, "SONCHIRIYA As we wrap up this unforgettable journey,Sharing a bit of me from this very special film (sic)"</p>
