<p>An Irish lawyer who was jailed for spitting at a flight attendant of Air India during a racist, foul-mouthed tirade has been found dead in England.</p>

<p>The body of Simone Burns, 50, was discovered at Beachy Head in Sussex just days after she was released from Bronzefield women's prison.</p>

<p>“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the next of kin have been informed. The matter has been passed to the coroner’s officer," said police officials.</p>

<p>Last year, the international human rights lawyer was caught on camera making abusive rants at Air India crew after she was refused alcohol on a flight from Mumbai to London.</p>

<p>In April 2019, &nbsp;Burns was sentenced to jail for six months in the UK for the incident.</p>

<p>Simone Burns was described as "drunk and obnoxious" during a hearing at Isleworth Crown Court in London, where it emerged that she also spat at a flight attendant during her foul-mouthed racist tirade.</p>

<p>Burns, born in Northern Ireland and living in Hove in England, was also ordered to pay 300 pounds compensation to the person she assaulted.</p>
