<p>Singer Shaan has urged media to not spread a false report about his Guwahati concert. An ANI report on Monday had stated that the crowd had pelted stones and paper balls at the singer during a concert in Guwahati on Sunday when the singer had started singing a Bengali song.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Refuting the report, Shaan stated that only one man had thrown a folded ticket at him on the stage. "Complete lies!!! One Paper ticket folded up was thrown on stage by One Person after vigorously gestering and shouting to stop singing.. That’s all ... please stop these wild speculations and lies(sic)" Shaan wrote on Twitter.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 46-year-old was performing in <a href="http://www.wionews.com/entertainment/shaan-attacked-by-crown-in-guwahati-during-a-concert-174412">Guwahati's Sarusajai Stadium when someone from the audience threw a paper ball at him after Shaan started singing a Bengali song.</a> A visibly angry Shaan then stopped his performance and urged the miscreant to learn to respect the performer.</p>

<p>"If you don't like it, you can go away. I had a high fever. I am on antibiotics. And still I am here performing all night for you," Shaan told the crowd.</p>

<p>Post concert, the singer took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the concert. A follower even apologised for what had happened at the concert to which the singer said, that it would be wrong to tarnish the image of Assam over one stray incident.&nbsp;</p>
