Beyonce's pregnancy announcement grabbed no.1 spot, with Christiano Ronaldo's new-born baby photo on 2nd and Selena Gomez's right-after-surgery on 3rd

In an update from Instagram, a popular photo-sharing app, this year's top 10 photos with the highest recorded number of likes and engagement are shared by the likes of Selena Gomez, Christiano Ronaldo and Beyonce. Selena Gomez, according to Instagram continues to be the most-followed Instagram user in the world and has contributed five photos to the 2017 list. She has 130 million followers and gained 24 million of those in just the last 12 months. She is followed by soccer champ Christiano Ronaldo posing with his new-born baby and girlfriend and singer Beyonce with her pregnancy announcement pictures. The first in the list is Beyoncé sharing the first image of her twins in July and Ronaldo sharing a picture of his newborn twins in June. He has 116 million-plus followers. Ariana Grande is third with 115 million, Beyoncé fourth with 108 million and Kim Kardashian-West fifth with 104 million followers.
