In a bizarre stunt, a man tried to get eaten alive by an anaconda and later recalled the moment when he was “inches away” from his “ribcage exploding".

In an episode that was telecast&nbsp;on the Discovery Channel,&nbsp;conversationalist&nbsp;Paul Rosolie had agreed to get eaten alive by a large snake.&nbsp;The stunt was performed 2014 and it went viral recently.

Minutes after the snake started to consume Rosolie's head, he called an end to the stunt.

Recalling the experience in an interview with LadBible, Rosolie said that it was “terrifying”.

“The last thing I remember was her mouth open wide and everything went black. I went limp and let it constrict. She wrapped around me and I felt my suit cracking and my arms ripping out of their sockets," he said.

“I came inches away, moments away from having my rib cage explode. It was really all about showing people the power of these snakes with the mission of protecting their habitats,” Rosolie added.

“Every time you exhale, you never get that space back, you never take that breath in again. So you exhale and the snake squeezes, and then when you try to breathe in, there’s nothing. And so I couldn’t even call for help. It was terrifying,” said the man.

As per National Geographic, the green anaconda is the world's largest snake which grows up to nine metres long and weighs around 227 kg.
