Sharing pictures of him training with Kapil Dev who served as the Indian captain at the time of the win, Ranveer looks elated and lost in training. In one photo shared by Ranveer on Instagram, he wrote: "Becoming the Hurricane #KapilDev #legend #journeybegins @83thefilm @kabirkhankk." On the film and his role, in an earlier interview, Ranveer said, "He is a legend in the truest sense. He commands such respect in the cricket fraternity and has a vast fan following.” He added, "The story of underdogs' triumph is completely lost.
