Making a clear reference to the air strike in Pakistan, PM Narendra Modi said that "I can understand the reason behind your excitement and high spirits. There's nothing bigger than the country; I salute every person working towards its development."

Speaking about Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Modi said within next 10 years Rs 7.5 Lakh Crore will be deposited in the accounts of farmers.&nbsp;

Farmers do not have to do anything, he said and added farmers will directly get a notification on their mobile phones, saying that they have received the amount.

The prime minister also spoke about the implementation of One Rank One Pension (OROP) and the National War Memorial during the rally.

It has been reported that PM Narendra Modi supervised and was present in the situation room at the PMO at South Block when the strike happened.

Sources say multiple options were given with Air Chief Marshal preparing the entire plan.The target was identified around February 20 and 21 with the Army/Air Force doing the air surveillance along the LoC.

Drones were also used. Overall, two Mirage squadrons with 12 jets were selected for operation.
