Schools and colleges in Manipur will be closed on Monday (May 6) and Tuesday after the northeast Indian state was hit by heavy rainfall. In a post on X, Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh said late Sunday, "All schools and colleges will remain closed on 6th May and 7th May 2024 due to the prevailing weather conditions in the state.
