<p>The actor had been tweeting after the violence unleashed in North India by followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh after he was convicted of raping two of his followers on Friday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thirty-six people have died in the violence since then.&nbsp;</p>
