A breach in security of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reported during his election road show in Davanagere, about 264 km northwest of Bengaluru, the capital of South Indian state Karnataka on Saturday.

The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to "forthwith" secure the records pertaining to security arrangements made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent Punjab visit from the state government.
