Late actor Patrick Swayze's widow Lisa Niemi has opened up about her decision to remarry after Swayze's death and find love again after his death. Lisa appeared on TJ Holmes and Amy Robach's podcast and said that she got approval for marrying again from the source that mattered the most - Swayze himself.&nbsp;

“I actually had a dream, when we were looking at getting married,” she recalled. “It was like he was resurrected. And I was in this courtyard — and when I see him in my dreams, he can never speak, but I can understand what he was saying. And he came up to me and he put his arms around me, and I was like, 'I can't marry Albert now because you're back. Thank god you’re back!'”

She explained that in the dream, Swayze looked at her and “his words that came to me were, ‘I know you love me. And that has nothing to do with it.' It was like he was letting me know that it didn't change how we felt about each other in our relationship with each other. It was like giving a blessing."

Lisa mentioned that the later actor's fans did not feel the same and she was criticised for moving on.&nbsp;

“I got a lot of flak — it’s like, ‘How dare you.’ There are some pretty rabid Patrick fans out there who think I’m evil and just don’t like me because I was married to him,” she said. “I was so tempted so many times to say, ‘Hey girlfriend, stand in my shoes, tell me about it! Go ahead, tell me just because I lost my husband that I don’t love him anymore.’ It’s ridiculous.”

Patrick Swayze died at 57 in 2009, two years after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The couple had married in 1975 and were together until he passed.&nbsp; 
 
Three years after his death, Lisa met her now-husband Albert DePrisco, who was himself recovering from a “heartbreaking” divorce.&nbsp; 
 
Lisa said, “If we had met before then it would not have happened but after three years we were about ready.”

On finding love again after Swayze's death Lisa added, "I didn't realise just how lonely I was until much, much later. Because I'm a buck-up kinda girl. I can take it. 'This is not loneliness I'm feeling, I'm dealing with grief.' But it was so wonderful when he came into my life."

Lisa also added that DePrisco was not bothered by her lasting love for Swayze.&nbsp;

When she was asked if she could “forget about Patrick,” Lisa laughed, “Are you kidding me? Patrick’s still with me. I still have a relationship with him. It’s just, he’s physically not here. Every day he’s with me and I feel him there.”

"It was important to me. He originated the character and I wanted to bring it through," Gyllenhaal said at the film's premiere in London on Thursday.

Swayze, who passed away in 2009, and Gyllenhaal worked together on "Donnie Darko" some two decades ago.

"Patrick was always so lovely to me, so supportive at the beginning of my career. I carried with me some of the tattoos, we designed some tattoos in honour of him, just because I really loved him.”

The new Doug Liman-directed movie marks the acting debut of former UFC champion Conor McGregor.

The Irishman, who plays savage contract killer Knox, described the experience as "a learning curve".

"I went in humble. I went in looking to learn. And I knew my level. I was a white belt and I'm a white belt still. I was blessed with an amazing cast who were patient and very helpful for me," he said.

McGregor, 35, said he was not eyeing further Hollywood roles and would refocus on his UFC career once the publicity run for the movie ends.

Some of Gyllenhaal’s fighting scenes were filmed in the Octagon in front of a real audience during the UFC 285 event headlined by Jon Jones and Cyril Gane. The 43-year-old actor spent some two months getting in shape for the stunts and action scenes in the movie shot in the Dominican Republic.

The film also stars Jessica Williams as Frankie, the owner of the roadhouse, Daniela Melchior in the role of local doctor Ellie and Billy Magnussen as crime boss Ben Brandt.

"I hope you don't compare ours to the original because I think art is not a competition. You got to just celebrate," said Magnussen.

Road House&nbsp;starts streaming on Prime Video on March 21.

Joel Silver, who was associated with the original movie, will be producing the remake for his company, Silver Pictures. JJ Hook, Alison Winter, and Aaron Auch will serve as executive producers.

‘Road House’ remake will follow Gyllenhaal, a former UFC fighter, who "takes a job as a bouncer at a rough-and-tumble roadhouse in the Florida Keys, but soon discovers that not everything is what it seems in this tropical paradise." Reports about Liman and Gyllenhaal circling the remake emerged last year in November. Amazon Prime has officially announced that production will begin in the Dominican Republic later this month.

The 1989 original movie, in which Swayze played James Dalton, is a zen bouncer who gets hired to clean a rowdy bar in Missouri, where he has to deal with a corrupt businessman, Ben Gazzara, who controls the entire town, Variety reported. The film did a decent business when it was initially released, but since then it has become a cult classic and is considered amongst late Swayze’s best films.

"The original ‘Road House’ has a special place in my heart and I am so excited to bring this newly imagined version to audiences around the world," producer Joel Silver said. "Doug and I have each made some big, boisterous action movies and are ready to bring everything we have to this one."
