French referee Tony Chapron has been suspended after kicking out&nbsp;Diego Carlos after sending him off by showing a red&nbsp;card in a&nbsp;French Ligue-1 match between FC Nantes and Paris-St Germain.

In the 87th minute, Nantes defender Diego Carlos unintentionally collided with the match&nbsp;referee Chapron.

The 45-year-old referee stumbled and fell to the ground and kicked&nbsp;Diego Carlos with&nbsp;his right boot.

Chapron then flourished a second yellow card at Carlos and sent him off for the remaining three minutes of the game.

Nantes president Waldemar Kita was captured laughing&nbsp;at the dismissal.

The French Football Federation announced on Monday that Chapron would face a disciplinary hearing - and suspended him until further notice.

He will be called to appear before the French league&#39;s disciplinary commission at a later date to explain himself.
