A suicide bomber drove an explosive-laden vehicle into a military convoy in Pakistan’s North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing 13 soldiers and injuring 10 others, along with 19 civilians, a local government official told news agency AFP.

Pakistani authorities say that five Chinese nationals were among six people killed in a suicide attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday. A convoy carrying Chinese engineers was targeted by a suicide bomber who rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into them. This is the third major attack on Chinese interests in Pakistan in less than a week.
