<p>The Upper House of the Parliament <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/triple-talaq-bill-tabled-in-rajya-sabha-28436" target="_blank">was disrupted</a><a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/triple-talaq-bill-tabled-in-rajya-sabha-28436" target="_blank"> again</a> on the second day due to the continued uproar over the triple talaq bill.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The opposition&#39;s demand to present the bill to the Select Committee led to a heated debate between TMC MP Derek O Brien and BJP leader Smriti Irani.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Responding to Derek O Brien, Smriti Irani reversed asking them to have a discussion, if they really supported women empowerment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>India&#39;s textile minister&nbsp;later questioned the Congress and the Opposition for &quot;obstructing the path of justice for Muslim women&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Irani&nbsp;blamed them for running away from the discussion in Rajya Sabha.&nbsp;She further said that the double standards of the&nbsp;Congress-led&nbsp;Opposition were exposed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Irani said &quot;It was a shame on them that they are trying to obstruct this path of justice for Indian&nbsp;women. &quot;</p>

<p>Derek O Brien blamed the Centre for hindering women empowerment. He added that the latest move had exposed them.</p>
