Local media reported that Iran has placed the issue of withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) on its review agenda. Amid this, U.S. President Donald Trump stated he is negotiating with Iran while directly mentioning the possibility of seizing Kharg Island through ground force deployment.

According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency on the 28th, the Iranian parliament and other relevant institutions are urgently reviewing the issue of withdrawing from the NPT.
