"Nomadland" is the bookies' favorite to win best picture at the Oscars, when they take place on April 25. Director Chloe Zhao has already made history as the first female director of color to be nominated in the best director award. Zhao is up for four Oscars, including directing, adapted screenplay, editing and of course, best picture. However, she is keen to point out the production was a group effort.
