<p>Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has got&nbsp;a big relief in the sexual assault case. On Wednesday (Nov. 6), Pauly was absolved from the serious allegation that was levelled against him.</p>

<p>In September 2024, Nivin was booked on charges of rape after a 40-year-old woman accused him and five others of sexually assaulting her in Dubai. The complainant, who is from Ernakulam district in Kerala, allegedly said that the actor assaulted her after promising her a role in a film in November 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However,&nbsp;the actor has got&nbsp;a clean chit from the investigation team. According to reports, during the investigation, it was found that Pauly was not present at the location at the mentioned time and date.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) has submitted a report to the First Class Magistrate Court in Kothamangalam, Ernakulam, stating that Nivin's name has been removed from the list. He was the sixth accused in the report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the investigation is going on against the other five accused in the case.</p>

<p>After Nivin got the clean chit, he shared a gratitude message with all his fans. Taking to Instagram, he shared a post reading, ''Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by me. Thanks for all the love, prayers and support.''</p>
