It also questioned the reported casualty figures and said: "According to an initial examination, the reported number of casualties resulting from the strike does not align with the information held by the IDF."

The war, raging for over 14 months, has claimed at least 45,206 lives in Gaza, primarily civilians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. The United Nations has deemed these figures credible.

<h2>Aid allocation</h2>

The newly pledged funds, as per AFP, will be distributed among key UN agencies, with 12 million pounds (over $15 million) earmarked for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the World Food Programme (WFP). The remaining seven million pounds (over $8.8 million) will support the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

This comes as aid organisations continue to accuse Israel of preventing trucks from entering Gaza in large numbers, allowing only a fraction of necessary supplies into Gaza.&nbsp;

With this new contribution, the UK’s total humanitarian aid for the Palestinian territories in 2023 reaches £99 million.

According to The Express Tribune, ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill in his written judgment highlighted strong evidence against the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. This included audio and video recordings that implicated Khan in inciting violence.

According to the report, the court cited witness testimonies regarding a conspiracy that was allegedly hatched at his residence in Lahore's Zaman Park, where Khan reportedly directed his supporters to take action.

The court also noted that violent attacks on police officers took place on May 11,&nbsp;linked to Khan's directives, The Express Tribune reported.&nbsp;

The prosecution alleged that Khan had planned to disrupt state operations in anticipation of his impending arrest. Evidence presented by the prosecution included recordings of undercover police officers overhearing discussions about the conspiracy, further confirming Khan's involvement.&nbsp;

The defence claimed that Khan was in custody at the time of the incident. This, however, was rejected by the court, stating that the conspiracy had been devised before Khan's detention.
