<p>The Nanavati Commission which probed the 1984 riots gave Nath the benefit of the doubt.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Eyewitness however allege that Nath led the mob outside Delhi's Rakabganj gurudwara that burnt two people alive. The Rakabganj gurudwara is near Parliament House.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Nanavati Commission heard the testimonies of eyewitnesses, including then Indian Express reporter Sanjay Suri, which established Nath's presence at the spot. Nath has admitted he was there but said he was trying to calm down the mob not incite it.&nbsp;<br />
