National Conference President Farooq Abdullah waded into another controversy on Monday after he dared the Indian government to raise the tricolour in Jammu and Kashmir&#39;s Srinagar.&nbsp;

&ldquo;They are talking of raising flag at PoK. I ask them, first you go and raise the Tricolour at Lal Chawk in Srinagar. They can&rsquo;t even do that here and they are talking about PoK,&rdquo; Abdullah told Alert India News.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He also mentioned the Kashmiri Pandits, saying that they had had to live away from home for 28 years and still nothing had been done for them.&nbsp;

Abdullah has run afoul of public opinion a number of times in recent weeks.&nbsp;

He recently said that, after 70 years, we have to accept Pakistan-occupied Kashmir belongs to Pakistan.&nbsp;

He also asked for how long will the blood of innocent people be shed.&nbsp;

And on Sunday he expressed his concern over the &quot;worsening security situation&quot; in Jammu and Kashmir.&nbsp;

Abdullah was referring to the killing of a Territorial Army jawan by militants.&nbsp;

Abdullah also termed the talks between the Centre&#39;s interlocutor on Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma and the Kashmiri people a &quot;formality&quot;.&nbsp;
